How you can clean an LCD screen

LCD monitors or TV screens are definitely more delicate than regular glass screens and need a careful touch when cleaning. Never push on the screen with all your finger (although I'm sure this is tempting) as you're able break the consumer crystal pixels and ruin the readability and color of your display. You may use commercial cleaners and wipes made specifically for LCD screens but get them to designed for LCD products. Never use cleaners containing ammonia or ethanol. Another option is to make your own solution combining one part sanitized water and something part vinegar or iso-propyl alcohol. Also, don't use paper products to clean up the screen while they will scratch the final. Don't use anything but soft eye glass or micro fiber cloths because of this job. Now that you are positioned and still have all of your tools just follow these few easy instructions.

Initial thing to try and do should be to power down it, screen or laptop, this will likely protect the screen if liquid gets to the whole shebang.

Next apply the cleaning mixture to the cloth, never straight away to the screen, and wipe one way along the screen. Tend not to press down or scrub, this needs only a light touch. Allow screen dry and power backup.

In the event the screen is merely slightly dusty you can use a can of compressed air to carefully blow the pull out.

The secret is to become gentle and very careful so not to damage the liquid crystals or screen membrane. Involving cleanings you can use a screen protector. This will likely minimize the dust and finger prints which could collect on your own panel and to protect it from injury. Finally, much more doubt, read your warrantee paperwork which should have cleaning and maintenance recommendations for your monitor or screen to hold it in prime shape.
